Hello to anyone out there.
My hubby, my son and I flying for the very first time (ever) to NewZealand in April. Flying from Heathrow-through to Auckland and then down to Christchurch, where we have hired a 4 berth motor home.
I have a penpal on South Island so going to visit her - after 20 years of writing to her. At long last we shall meet
I have booked a day to swim with dusky dolphins for me and my son, we are really looking forward to it all.
I would love to hear from people that have or never been to New zealand before. _________________ Treat every day as your last as life is too short for rehearsals. |

Hi yorkshirelass, New Zealand really is a beautiful country. You will love it!!! Me and my friend travelled out for the rugby and had an absolutely fantastic time.
We too travelled around in a campervan (it seems that anyone staying for any length of time chooses this way to see the islands). The roads are great and pretty much quiet and the scenery is breathtaking.
One thing that stud out for me was just how friendly everyone was. People go out of there way to help.
I am so jealous and would go back tomorrow.
Do as much planning as possible as there is so much to see and do!! |

Thanks for that jimmyw25, yes we are very excited.
Just staying on South Island this trip - we have decided to just relax and take our time - only there for 2 weeks and already decided what we want to do and see, though Im sure we will not get to see and do everything we want.
Never mind - good excuse to go back again eh _________________ Treat every day as your last as life is too short for rehearsals. |

Can't agree more with Jimmyw! New Zealand is an amazing country and as stated, the people just make it especially on the south island I'd say. Make sure you give yourself a few days in Queenstown as you'll need it round there, so much to do! Enjoy |
